Finally got a close up rear view (ooer) of the X3 and doesn't it look an ugly machine, especially the rear lights.  Not into the whole 4x4 SUV thing personally, i'd rather thrash round a track than climb every mountain and forge every stream

tosh and poppycock, we don't care what model you have as long as you care about the brand and have petrol (or diesel) somwhere in your veins....

This forum just needed a little nudge to wake y'all up a bit!

You have to wait till December?  Huh?

Whoever posted about Roadfly is right, BMW does sell something insane like 50-60,000 of them a year in America last time I paid even remote attention.

But there is one cool thing about having an X5.. you can stick an E38 radio module in one, take it to the dealer and have it coded for satellite radio

December?  Wow, well at least it'll be an appropriate time of year perhaps (although you could probably do with it right now!).

Don't worry about not being Steffi Graf.  My mistress Anna Sharapova wouldn't approve of me talking to someone who has won more Grand Slams than her anyway...

Sorry about the language guys. didn't think the b word counted.  By the way there are a lot of mails about X5's on the BMW mag forum.  Lots of info about the extras to have fitted, or not.

Have to wait until December now though.

OK you guys, just ordered an X5, am 51 and female and not doing my nails or hair.  Our sons are all growed up so havn't done the school run for many a year.  Made them walk anyway.  This is my first BM, except for our Mini.  We wanted somethng high up for our trips across Europe.  One son in Germany you see and we like touring anyway.

We are getting the 3.0 TD, love the torque.  Couldn't get one in pink, ******, looks like green then.  Anyway pink would clash with our red Mini.  Time to do my nails now.

Welcome to the forum, and hopefully the club, please watch the language, we are a tad tight on it in here.

there you go.

we come in here, rip it up for a few days and then.... dead again.

I'm tempted to buy an X to inject a bit of life in here!

someone else needs to buy too though so that I've got someone to talk to and swap recipies, nail tips and talk about eastenders and posh spices norks etc.
