In preperation for the new wheels arriving in March, I need to fit an Eibach Pro Kit to my E46 330ci.

After the dealer said they would fit them, surprise surprise, they the refused. Anyone got any ideas as to who could fit them for me at a reasonable price in/near Edinburgh?

Thanks for your help.

Expect to pay about 45mins per corner (in real-life, 30 mins per corner is adequate, but they know they can sting on this one)

I also have a set of ACS springs available for E46 if anyone wants them, recently sold them, then had to refund, as the blokes dealer would not honour the warranty as they hadnt come to him direct  from Schnitzer ...

What a W

Apparently the E46 is a bit more complicated than that. The rears are no problem, about 30 mins a piece but the fronts are a different story. Think you have to totally dis-assemble the setup and takes about an hour a side at best.
So I'm told anyway. Anyway, after reading your post you're spot on! 3hrs in total. Even on cheap labour rates that's more than the ****** springs cost!

You'll need the geometry set afterwards. Do BMW call it a KDS?? ~£200 from your dealer I think.

Duetschmarque in edinburgh use CLCM in sighthill to do their geometry checks and adjustments - 0131 458 5559. The guy quoted me £58 maximum for my E36 compact, which seemed a LOT more reasonable than the costs of a BMW KDS.

Duetschmarque were quite helpful and were open about using the guy, so I'd see how much DM would charge for doing the springs. I think there is also a german car garage on gorgie road a couple of doors along from the VW garage at the chesser end.

Harrison Motors, 128 East Claremont St, Tel: 0131 557 4711 is one my father-in-law and my old boss used to use for their lancia thema turbo and alfa 164 lusso respectively. Never had a bad word to say about them.

Hope this helps.
