Hi everyone, Gotta E36 M3 coupe with a sunroof liner that looks as if it's lost inside the car roof somewhere. It doesn't come forward when the sunroof is shut and also now stops the sunroof from sliding back all the way. Have managed to pull it forward with my fingers but can only get it flush with the rear edge of the closed roof then it stops solid. I'm guessing it's dropped out of it's track somewhere. Had the steal part of the roof off to give better access but still can't get it. Is this a "roof lining" off job or is there an easier way to recover the bu**er. |

The liners have a clip that stops them sliding around independantly of the sunroof but its plastic and prone to snapping, mine has.
My local independant Mpower specialist says to replace it the liner has to come out which is a roof liner out job!! HTH,John |

Cheers m8, Looks like i'll have to wait for some good weather the get the liner off. Anyone got any tips / insider info on the best way to do this, or is it just trim off, seals off & screws out? |
