I bought them for a couple of bucks from Ebay.  Bit tricky to install trying to follow the instructions, but managed around it.

Pretty good info inside which I used more than once.

Just check the postage costs before commiting as sometimes these can be quite extortionate!

Postage costs are always a laugh Killian.

I bought two badges to replace the BMW ones on the bonnet and boot.  Got them for £1 but cost £9 to deliver.  Still cheaper than buying but if I paid anymore then I would ave knocked them back.

TIS for £5 - best money I have spent in a long time. Even if you don't do all the jobs yourself, your understanding of the car grows ...

Worth mentioning two things about the TIS:

One is mentioned by an earlier poster, its a s*d to install.

The other is that it is an information system, seemingly based on warranty claims and such like.  It is a good resource but it is not a workshop manual or parts listing.  (Parts listings are online).

There are six discs in the set and I managed to aquire the lot
TIS is the Technical Information Supplement
ETK is the parts catalogue and is superb as you can add the prices file and quote not only p/no but cost and just watch your parts guys face, its priceless
ETM 1 & 2 is the Electronic technical manual
EBA
KSD
the other two are accessory retrofit related, very detailed if you wish to add a 16:9 monitor to a 1998 e39 for example and a dealer protocol assistance and such disc.
In the main the etk is the best disc and tends to show exploded digrams of all parts so a strip and refurb is a little easier than with the Bentley,,

The TIS is a piece of the proverbial compared to the RAVE setup for the ETM on E30 / E36.

Incidentally, has anyone got the RAVE installation to work on XP ?

I've got a version on my old Windows 98 machine which I have to boot up if my dad wants any info for his E36.
