Sorry to ambush your thread but I have bought these wheels WHEELS
I have found that they are fitted with 215 45 17 tyres, would the be Ok to use for now until I can find some better sized ones. What do you recomend??? Simon |

Fisrtly Alan, you are restricted when it comes to choice with 16 inch wheels and believe it or not 16 inch tyres are more expensive than there 17 inch equivalent The biggest you can source without problems are 235/50/16 which for Toyo Proxes are around £120 each fully fitted. Secondly Simon, you have a lot more choice with 17 inch wheels, the following tyre choices are the standard fit on the E39 sport models 235/45/17 Front Toyo Proxes £113 fully fitted 255/40/17 Rear Toyo proxes £123 fully fitted For further choices see www.blackcircles.com

I've just bought two 225/50/16 Khumo tyres yesterday for £117 fitted and I have found them to be an excellent good wearing tyre. Ring around - you never know what you may find. Paul |

Hi again
I have got 225/45/17 tyres now fitted to the rims, but I have found that i need spacers to stop them catching on the struts and I will need spigot rings as well. Could you advise me as to where I can get them from??? Many Thanks Simon |
