Anyone unfortunate enough to have experienced the recent flooding around Carlisle?

did you see the american polititian who stood in front of the white house and claimed that "gloabal warming may actually be a good thing.  it would certainly make parts of canada and northen europe more inhabitable."

this was when they were questioned about not signing the kyoto agreement.

the inbreeding has obviously gotten out of hand in the US.  i never knew anybody could be so ignorant.  you live and learn.

how gutted must these poor people must be,its not just cars etc thats lost,its all the sentamentel belongings that cant be replaced,what a shame.Did u see the mud slides in LA?more or less every year this happens with houses sliding down the hills yet still the super rich keep building theirhouses onthese hills!!! numptys

Agreed. Let's contact "Hunter" in Dumfries and apply to become retail stockists.

Same goes for hearing aids. Lots of young people today combined with obnoxiously-loud music. They'll be in premature need of the little deaf aids once they hit middle age....

You've seen the floods. Yet these "numpties" still keep building houses on flood plains......

they get land very cheaply on these high risk areas thats why!  its the "it will never happen to me" mentality again, we've had two bad floods in a decade in elgin, both featured on the telly and in the national newspapers, the carlisle ones are a facsimilie of that
