Any thoughts?

Agreed, Uwe, but define, "a bit further north".   Watford doesn't cut it.   How about the Lake District? Nice roads and scenery - 2 hours drive for me.

Indeed further north. Am I being selfish for saying 'How about Scotland?'

Only kidding but no doubt a few from Scotland would appreciate somewhere more north.

Alan..

Hmmm.  Not really North, but loads of useful roundabouts.  However, if you are looking for somewhere North with loads of roundabouts, I know just the place.

How about a SOUTHERN MEET! like at Lakeside or Heston Services near heathrow. That sort of thing.

Or any other ideas.

Uwe, how about giving this a shout as a venue
'Carpenters Arms' , though we had better phone the

though

Think Boxhill is still an option Doesnt have to be Rykas, how about the top of the hill?

I liked the Munich meet, but I dont think the landlady at the Pub was too keen
