Happy New Year everyone.

Thought it'd be a good idea to kick off as we mean to go on so shall we say 1st meet of 2005 set for the Harvester, Loughton, Milton Keynes last Sunday in January 12pmish?

John

John,

Any space for some gatecrashers from further south?

The M5 need a good run and maybe we could get a convoy like we did for Aylesbury a year ago.

Cheers
Kevin

The more the merrier.

Any news from BMW8nut?Mick,werent you talking direct to him?

If this comes off then we could always work Aylesbury into the schedule.

Haven't spoken to Phil for a while, I'll try and get hold of him and give him the details.

Looks like it maybe a good turn out  Aylesbury sounds good for a future meet

Must remember to take some pics this time

Ey up folks

Sounds as tho there is quite a bit of interest in an Aylesbury meet. Looks like I'll have to get my act together and possibly start sorting something out when we gather at MK.

That ok John?

Mark.

We had a meet a couple of months ago, and it was suggested we maybe alternate between MK, Northampton and Aylesbury, so more people could get involved.

We will have to get some thing sorted at MK meet

See Ya there

Hi all, havent been on here for a while for various reasons. My M3 Convertible is currently having a well earned winter rest untill April 2005 due to covering nearly 24k last year (my attempt to keep the mileage lowish.) I have some friends over that weekend but i will try and pop along to say hi, i would also appreciate some help/advice regarding the dreaded VANOS noise, and attempts to get BMW to pay for the replacement seems very difficult!  Any feedback would be welcome, for those of you living in Northampton you may have seen my one floating around in the summer..........roll on April!!!!

Scorpion is ok but a bit load, on a run motorway speeds you get a constant droning, it does sound nice when you hit the loud pedal though.

Didn't cost me anything so can't complain to much, I was thinking of changing it for a Supersprint and de-cat, but still unsure.

I've heard that the real advantages on decatting are on the 3Ls but you're more than welcome to have an earful/gander at my setup-Supersprint decat and backbox.

Worth speaking to John with the M powered breadvan (sorry John) as he had his go and knows spot on what it sounds like/characteristics.
