alternator output/battery charging

   Right,
I have a dilemma.
Replaced an alt belt, volt reg, alt bushes and my alt STILL struggles under load. 
looks like another week without the stereo.
Anyway, I guess any alternator would have problems if the following were on:
2speed fan -20amp drain?
Stereo-20amp drain?
engine ampage
intermittent with wipers/blowers /heated seats/etc current drainage

Doesnt leave much left for the 90ampage alt.
What about the windings in the alt, they can go with time. Maybe the V reg i have is faulty[:S]
something to ponder...........
