Driving Conduct 1. No racing: This is a Better Driving Day not a race. 2. No overtaking: Until it is safe to do so, and not until the driver in front lets you through. You must overtake on the side agreed on the day. This procedure will be explained at the briefing, if in doubt....ask! 3. No blocking: If you have a car in your mirrors then you must let them through. When it is safe...move over, back off the throttle and let them past on your left. (Please avoid the temptation to go faster and stay in front) 4. No drifting until advised safe to do so.

Cheers old bean, Not sure about spectator fees Pete.. refer to Shorty. But it's an idea even if just a nominal cost. Will you be filming? I'm sure anyone who's filming for the video project would be discounted as they'll be in effect 'working'. You're welcome to PAX laps m8. BR, Jon

My car can be used for passenger laps with a contribution of a £1 to add to the coffers in the same way pete's talking.
Pete if you turn up you could fix the camera to my cage, when it's fitted! |

what are pax laps? can i come along too as a spectator? in order to get footage for the dvd i will require passenger rides in as many different cars as possible... sitting in a beast of a car hoofing round a private track at breakneck speed is not my idea of fun <cough, cough>, but i do it for the club, i know i know, its really selfless of me, but i'll get my reward in heaven

PAX=Passenger. Ditto. But perhaps £2.50 a fairer contribution.. or maybe; £1.50 1 lap, £2.00 for 2 laps, £5.00 for 6 laps etc etc Possibly it doesn;t all have to be in the same car either. Again this would be subject to sufficient number of lids available on the day. Every little bit helps the club funds.. Shorty can work out the numbers and advise on this. I guess charge from Willie will dictate preceedings.

I'm in for this. Livingston, 535d Sport (with tuning box?) PAX Welcome My opinion is that passengers/spectators should be charged a fixed fee (£5, £10?) and have as many laps as they want (or the drivers will allow!). If drivers have blue armbands, then passengers get white armbands and someone checks all cars and pax going onto the track. I can't make the middle of May until the middle of June Edited by 330dse |

Do we need helmets, as they have not be used in the past? Is this an insurance issue?
