Sorry, Correction on the 2.0l figures, we ended up getting 224 BHP @ 7986 rpm and 158 ibft @ 6380 rpm
And as to your post Darylzimm3,
Are the figs you quoted using the Nos happy gas? If no then impressive, if yes, dissapointing.

Have recently had mine re-mapped after engine rebuild and alpha n, have not got a scanner so can not post the dyno, but i was really pleased with the results -
266bhp - 219lb/ft ( at the flywheel )
On the dyno it says ( MPH ) surely this can't be correct as mine reads 219 mph !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANYBODY ?

Darylzimm3,
Please post your printout as it will be intresting so see where your gains are, as your torque seems a bit high for your horse power.
As for your lets if you are that cute around a circuit, or just an aim and squirt specialist.
Thought not.

Hi Uwe,
Post it. It will give a another view on these engines, and may help someone. I have the orginal printout now, so if you want me to scan and send you the orginals from both the 2.0L and 2.5l, two plots for each engine, let me know.

Good Tom,
Will help others to see what gains can be had. When posting it will be a good idea to list mod`s as with pistons, cam`s, engine management, air box etc.

Ok here we go then. Please keep in mind that I have just read the dynoplot's send to me with a ruler and keyed in an excel sheet. Some of my graphs are done on another Dyno as well, so direct comparision might be a bit of a guess.

Dave, I knew you would say that. I was just too lazy to key all the data in and it's quite difficult as some of the prints are not very clear after faxing.
I might have a little go later on.
If anyone else want to see his graph in this chart please email a good copy to me.

Uwe, your engine really looks strong with those
comparisons, 70hp more (-/+) than standard at 4750
rpm ...whoa looks like your heading for 270 plus
with A/N

You can really feel the difference. My back brakes loose on bends I never had a problem before. If you come out of a roundabout and you put your foot doen above 5000 you have to be alerted. Specially now with the grotty weather and rain.

It does go to show that the AFM, while limiting ultimate, ultimate power and adding to poor throttle response it doesn't perform too badly when wide open.

Uwe,
Looking good.
Although Daves ultimately has more power from 5250ish, your has lots more above 3250 which is more usable in everyday driving, presumably with good torque improvements also.

Dave's engine can't really be compared. He's got Alpha-N and HUGE port on his head. I am sure if he would use the cams these ports are designed for we would see quite a few horses more!
My two last run's (the red and purple) are done on a different Dyno in Germany. All the other runs are done at Bexley's.
Like mention in another post we should really compare wheel figures to get a better comparision. But everybody want's to see high numbers unfortunately
