Good News Folks

I have managed to negotiate a special rate which means we are able to reduce the numbers required.

Therefore we are on target to fill the day (approx 30-35 cars)

There are very few places left so if you are interested get booking ASAP. (01278 453036)

I think we get the message!! Thats 3 warnings on the same topic. We know its not a BMWCC arranged day and we go at our own risk and to be honest I dont understand why you keep warning people? Didnt you go in Feb?

I went to the trackday back in Feb and to be honest I thought it was a very good day, although cold, and it was very good value. There wasnt any 'Max Power' idiots driving like planks just VWs having a good day. It was no different to the trackday we went to at Donington last year (which was an Mitsubishi day) and no-one warned us about that!

I was also there in Feb and it wasn't the cold that was the problem but the lack of track time caused by the need to recover the various cars from the armco, particularly in the afternoon. From my perspective that reduced the VFM of the day.

It's still a free country and if you do go I hope you have a good day.

Cheers

one car had to be removed from the armco , thats no different than removing a e46 m3 csl from the pit wall at donington last year , or a e36 m3 conv from the same pit wall the year before all at bmw bdd's , not trackdays ..

Cheers guys for your support.

I agree with both of your comments about all of the warnings about safety

It's paramount at any circuit and the standard of driving is monitored better at some circuits than others.

We will pull people aside and if they ignore advice or are driving in a dangerous manner they will be asked to leave.....part of our rules and Mallory Park's.

As for accidents.........it happens at many events unfortunately......even EVO Trackdays and Porsche/Audi trackdays at Silverstone.

Some of the trackday entrants at Mallory are very experienced trackday drivers including myself.

So I will conclude that I hope you enjoy remembering the rules at briefing

Ian,

Do you have any places left ? and where do you book.

Also are there any restrictions regarding tyres, other than the weather, and what  Noise limit is set for the event.

Look forward to your reply,

Dave

Just ring this number 01278 453036 ( I think its Tim Stiles racing).

As far as noise limit, there was a Dialynx Quattro that was mighty loud.

I had a good day in Feb

Well done Dave

The day is booked at nearly 40 cars.....but there are a few spaces left if people are interested

Got quite a few M-series cars attending........the only other car I would even consider to replace my 200bhp 2 litre 16V Golf would be the E30 M3...a proper motorsport car
