OH Dear!

His idea of bad points are obviously different to mine!
The engine detailing is a laughable - shiny white air box & cam cover whilst the rest is manky!

He mentions that it "draws so many admiring looks" - from who? Burberry cap wearers?

As you say Dave - it needs a bit of improving which would come via an accident or something!

You mean you wouldn't be one of the many giving it "admiring looks"

I'm giving it looks but they aren't admiring...

Must find out where to get the classy "Evolution" windscreen strip. It really sets the car off a treat.

I liked the phrase 'an appreciating classic' a_smil17

It might have been until someone put that stupid body kit on!

mmm.....well at least my 635 is standard and original, although I guess that one will be rehomed quicker than mine will...horses for courses I spose, but I'm afraid I prefer the original/standard look to certain cars.

Not being vindictive or bitter about these things but how come something that has been imho ruined like this car can probably be snapped up, if only for a small amount, and one that is as it was when first driven out of the showroom 22 yrs ago be about to get scrapped.  Mine is in good shape for its age, got the usually requested/wished for FSH etc....but things like this one that have been mucked about with, repainted in places that shouldn't see a paint brush apart from decobwebbing seem to sell quite easily.....

the mind boggles, it really does..

Hey ho...some people have no appreciation for potential classics I spose and certainly a strange idea of whats tasteful too.
