I kinda agree but the standard rear silencer just weighs too much. Supersprint lightweight system sounds fantastic but costs over £3k

M 8LUR,

I know Willie, he sold his CSL for a GT3 RS, I have his GruppeM exhaust in my garage. It's too loud for me!!

AP front & rear brake upgrade, TC Kline suspension & camber plates and maybe some race cats are planned at Christmas.

The wheels are forged alu. BBS LM's with 245/275 tyres.

Any mods planned M3CSL?

Just so I know what mountain I have to climb.. you're forcing my hand into getting NOS you know.. don't make me do it...

Willie runs a GruppeM titanium exhausts system on his CSL and the sound is fantastico! There's also a quick flash of an CSL on the Redline Nurburgring DVD (out now) and the sound is awesome!!

Are those the special order BBS alloys you got there? or are they OZ?

BR,

Jonny

Very, very nice car mate, glad I asked for pictures!

Hope to see you at one of the meets.

I was speaking to a female medic offshore at the weekend who's just traded in a Mini Cooper S for a brand new M3 convertible.  Cancelled her impending wedding and bought the M3 instead, must have been a helluva wedding planned! Think I need to invite her along the next time I see her, you can never see too many M's.

Dave

if you're at a loose end, do you fancy a trip up north with some of your fellow members to aberdeen at the end of the month?  should be a good turnout, and we would love to see a csl on the road

Welcome Paul, very nice car and agree with you regarding the brakes, sliding single pots on a car with 343 BHP, it's the only part they seem to not pay too much attention to!

Stephen

Anyone can come along, it's just the S14 owner seem to be the main travellers.

Jon

I may be going to the Ring at Easter which is the 1st long weekend. That's what Brian, aka BMGM3, has advised so i may be heading off for this one and an S14 meet in June if there is one.

That's the plans, just need to get the car sorted! The next phase starts soon......

Is there a Ring trip planned?  Brakes need an upgrade first but I'm up for it. Done the Ring before in my Lotus.
