Yes that's correct Falkster.
We have 15 slots to fill within the next month if anyone knows anyone else interested in doing this trackday.
All support is greatly appreciated

Hi Stuart,
As Nick says, as a BMW Car Club Member at a BMW car Club Better Driving Day-you have the BDD format for a SUPERVISED circuit day, so that YOU as a first time Club driver, are looked after.Instructors will go with you, if YOU wish and visable circuit driving standards, are closely watched.
RED Mist drivers are Removed .
Judge the organiser by the safety rules of each meeting.Check out What Insurance has been taken out for the meeting ????

Stuart,
If you are a BMWCC member and you come on a BMWCC 'better driving day' you will get a certain degree of insurance cover as part of the package. You will still have to make good any physical damage may cause to circuit property but you will not be held personally liable for any loss of life or limb.
Some insurers will cover a club driving event as part of a club style policy.
You do not need to modify your car at all for your first time out.. just get used to it as it is and leave the modifications for later. Remember though to use quality brake components rather than the cheap motor factor type stuff.
Croft this year was £135 for the car and one driver for 8 hours of driving.
I doubt if Croft'05 will be any dearer.
Regards,
Nick

Hello
I'm quite new to all this and although I don't think I can make this one i'd love to get my 525 sport onto the track at somepoint , can anyone give me some sort of idea what I would need to do in preperation do I have to do anything to the car ( different tyres etc ) also where can I find out about track day insurance ( i am a member of the club ) Also the £94 is that per car or per driver , and are passengers and spectators allowed ?
Thanks in advance Stu

Yeah that was unfortunate to say the least,,,,,,,,his track insurance covered up to £10K............expensive.
Hope to see you there Grant and Falkster...........
Proceedings will be more organised for better safety and more track time this time round plus the groups will either be 3 groups per hour or 4 per hour.
See you there hopefully

Apart from the day being cut short due to that guy in the R32 having a bit of a arguement with the armco on the first corner of his first lap

FAO everyone attending Mallory Park on the Saturday 6th of November 2004.
Due to unforseen circumstances Mallory Park has doubled booked our date.
In essence they have appologised for 'their' mistake and have stated the company that has also booked our day has booked the whole weekend and as such they would not honour our date but have offered us a new date :
Sunday 21st of November 2004.
I can only appologise for any disappointment or inconvienience this may cause but Neal will refund anyone who cannot make the new date.
The day is 3/4 booked and it is personal let down to myself and Neal. However we hope to see as many of you that have already booked on this new date.
