M is pretty subtle these days tho... exhausts, front wing gills and wheels are about all I'd expect on the M6

I think the arches are slightly wider. Also it has four tail pipes which is becoming an M signature item. Also it has cross drilled discs and the rear, therefore it would be reasonable to expect that they would be fitted to the front as well.
If it is the M6 then it is very very understated, which I like.

Great colour & fantastic rims... looks sensational there I have to admit.
Who else thinks the new 6 is left looking slab-sided and a bit boring by a range a naff-looking wheels? A beige 645i passed me in Moscow a couple of weeks ago with a set of deep-dish split rims and quad pipes (that sounded incredible - hard edged V8 bellow from them) and it looked twice the car that the silver one above is.

The ride height looks very high for a M series car and if thats all they are going to do to the car I would prefer to purchase the M5 and let the yanks have the M6 the same way they originally got the Z8. The 6 series is designed for the yankee market and for continental Europe and not for the narrow lanes and car-parks (M50) of Ireland, my two cents worth.

Two points. #1. Its not a real 6! #2. If they got rid of that boot lid I might try to like it!
nice wheels though!

What do you mean, "it's not a real 6" ?
the bootlid, is a disaster.
Agree with what was said earlier, not really designed for the irish car parks, and the ride height, well it's hard to tell from those pic's, cos the car is cornering in them and the pic's seem to be taken from the inside of the turn, hence the car appears to be higher, the front on pic three or four down show's the outside of the car to be fairly low on the rim's during cornering.

Can't imagine they give much thought to the roads over here when designing a new model - other than to pray none of their cars goes near them!

I'd say the only one BMW modeled for the Irish roads is the X5

Ahh, I see your point, tend to agree with you...
As BMW you woould think their flagship model would have everyone on a board such as this drooling, that obviously isn't the case, I've kinda only come to "accept" the new 6, But I never once said WoW, and that is the fault of Bangle, Sorry to say I really don't think my next car will be a bavarian unless, I hold this one and skip an E generation
