Hope you can make it as it will be good to see you there James. Sorry to hear about the MOT, hope it isn't anything too expensive.

I had a nervy morning as my M3 had it's MOT, just got the call to say everything is ok, phew. We will be only be bringing the M5 as the M3 is getting a bit marginal on the insurance mileage limit. It will have to wait until Donington on the 27th for it's exercise.

If we are after some nice piccies of the line up then wouldn't we be better off going somewhere after meeting up at ML? there must be loads of spots in the forest to pull up. I know I stopped near the Llama park on the A22 a while ago where you can drive through a little gate right onto an open field/part of the forest, that would have made a gorgeous photo.

OK Mags, we may as well meet you at ML then.

But  for those that are passing the area, we can still meet at hickstead if you like.

Ian,

I am trying to think what the best thing to do is. Going down to gatwick seems pointless as its an added journey.

Hmmm.

Hi Rags,

I tried to PM you, but your box was full.

How do you want to do this ? Meet with the others at Gatwick, or make our way further south ?

Ian.

We are meeting in the Black Horse on the A217 by Horley/Hookwood.
I was gonna go round the back of Horley, through Burstow to Copthorne, Crawley Down, Turners hill, forest row, right to the A22 where the ML turn off is.
If you don't get stuck behind a grandad in a Rover its a nice run.

5 metres - don't be daft

It's at least 6

So are we meeting the others somewhere, or making our own way through Haywards Heath, Chaily etc ?

What route are you other guys taking from Gatwick area ?

Cheers,

Ian.

Cheers Kev,

I think I will be going a long way round as I am going to give the car a blast on the way as I never get to use it these days

WIth regards to times at hickstead im not sure.

But the reasoning for hickstead is the fact we can just head through hassocks and ditchling and cut through the nice back roads
