A great day and the bad weather held off till around 3:30. Saw a couple of cars with the club badge on and had a chat with the owner of a 2002tii parked on the end of the Peugeot clubs area.

It would be really nice if the club could have an official stand next year. Tickets are free afterall. I would be willing to organise this having done it plenty of times in the past for the Peugeot club.

 Hi MattB , Sounds a good day out. Thankyou-- Your offer for 2005 would be interesting.Needs Information in plenty of Leadup time, so date can be put down as a "Must Go" ,and update info from time to time, and the Club Region can get involved.

no problem at all. the onyl word of warning is castle combe can be pretty disorganised, but are getting better. 2 stands (call it wessex & another region) would net us 30 free entry/stand passes.

It will be a while yet before they fix the times as they fit around the race callender. I will register an interest anyway.

Hi Matt,

I organized Castle Coombe this year at the Swindon & Bristol RSOC Event did not get much of a turn out. Will bump it up again next year and see if we can get a better turn out. I would be greatful if you dont mind helping.

Are you from Swindon??? as I use to live there and pop up once a month and maybe could meet up there and do a Pub Meet for people around that area. I only come up there at weekends though.

Hi

I live in Highworth just outside of Swindon.

I'd love to give you a hand. I'll be at the events regardless so if it helps promote the club i'm all for it. Even a 5 car turn out would do. I counted that many club badges last weekend + about the same again in non-club badged cars. As long as we can reach those people it's viable i guess!

Pub meet up sounds good. I don't know any Swindon area members so hopefully you do! Will be useful to drum up some support for future events. I'm hoping to do quite a few more club things this year as i move away from the Peugeot club scene.

I will speak to my guys at the next pub meet Iam sure they will be interested. I presume it will be on at the same time next year. I have just got back from my holiday hence the delay in the post.
