I believe these models were very limited, anyone know the differences from the normal Highline edition?

m badges ,fully dechromed , wider arches , only came in M colours (mines nogaro silver) just cosmetic things really as it was a blinged up runout model to shift the 6ers when they went out of production

Mine's in Misano Red.

They were a runout model with a good few options as standard lsd, m/sport steering wheel, bigger wheels with arches, all the usual Highline kit & M6 suspension (at least mine has).

There are small differences - some have the side skirts, some don't. Mine doesn't have any M badges either.

Thanks guys, were they auto or manual (or both)? Is there any specific VIN numbers for the motorsport versions and what were the M colours? Sorry for all the Qs but I'm really curious about this model.

I looked at one for sale recently, there seemed very little difference between the Highline and the Motorsport Highline. I'm guessing that the extra bits of trim probably made it even heavier than a highline.

The one I looked at was a G-plate, 150,000 miles, none of the electric seats working, leather was shafted, and the paint looked like someone had a pop at it with a twelve gauge!! Still the guy who was selling it insisted it was worth three and a half grand, and was one of the best and cheapest highlines for sale in the UK!!

Needless to say, I found a much better 6 for slightly less cash.

There was one fella at Sharkfest UK who looked VERY pleased with himself. "G"-reg "Highline" in diamond black. He paid the bank-busting sum of, er... three grand.

...and the car looked absolutely perfect.
