The way BA aircraft have being going 'tech' recently, it probably wouldn't have made it into the air, let alone to somewhere half decent...5 aircraft in 26 days going badly wrong, is definately not a sign of a healthy company...

You start to worry when the pilot comes on board whisteling 'in the mood' and peggy sue is playing over the intercom.

No wonder people applaud and chear when a plane lands, its the nervous tention.
Who needs seat belts, I have strong buttock muscles (clench)

Bring back Concorde, no computers on that baby.

Its got nothing to do with computers Rhys...the 'tech' probs have been potentially lethal..

We are talking about a company that has cut its workforce in maintenance and groundstaff so tightly that aircraft are not being checked as well as they ought to be.  As for the staff shortages..you tell me any company who would allow their staff to take holiday in their busiest month of the year and at the same time?

They have cut the levels back so far that the staff have probably gone sick knowing that the company can't demand them to come back to work...industrial action without it being called industrial action.

I know a few people who work on BA Maintenance, and to be perfectly honest, if they have gone sick, I am 100% behind them.

I refused to fly BA in 1980 and I haven't flown with them since and have absolutely no intention of doing so in the future.

Have a look at this..its a site especially for aircraft maintenance crews etc...might make you shudder a tiny bit too...

Went away to a friend's on Thursday.

Had lovely time up there, despite the weather.  Watched 'Kill Bill 1' and '2' on DVD.  Very weird films even by the standard of Tarantino.

Came home on the ferry, arrived over here at 1950, missed bus by the time I walked up the lane so ended up walking home...all 16 miles of it...  Took me just 2 hours and 10 mins to walk home in pitch black along roads without paths or lights....least it didn't rain though

Don't mention passwords..
My modem driver went bye bye on my laptop as I've mentioned.
Went to my sisters (as I've lent her my desktop since hers is feeble) to get onto AOL, and I couldn't remember my password. Now heres the question, When you forget your password you can have it sent to your e-mail address, how can you read it if you can't access it in the first place without your password?

Been there..done that..hence why my passwords are always written in laundry marker on the side of my monitor...
