Hi Mick,

Sorry I missed you all again this week.... I would have been there if I could.

Copy of email received:-

Hi Mick

There is no age restriction on cars on a club stand, as it is good to see the development of the marque.  As I mentioned before we would appreciate an early indication of numbers, the names and addresses can follow.

Lorraine.

So far, there's Coasting, Cal, Paul (prov), AndyS, Neil (prov) Barbara and me coming. That's a minimum of five cars. Does anyone else fancy coming?

Thanks

Neil,

Just give it a wash and polish. It'll be fine.

Cheers

Thanks Mick. The car looked better that it really was when I bought it and it still does now. Fortunately, I realised the problems before I parted with the cash.

It needs two new front wings, and the rae arches are duff, too. Fortunately, I have a pal who is a time served panel beater who believes that fibreglass plays no part in car body repiar. He uses body lead!

Watch this space!

Cheers, Neil

Neil,

I didn't notice anything wrong with your car last month. you haven't bumped it have you?

(By the way, thanks for the advice on the filler cap spring)

I don't think I can commit for a whole day (and who want's my rusty E36 on show, anyway) but I'd be happy to attend as a vistior and support the show and our group.
Cheers, Neil

This is being held at Dilson Castle (near Corbridge) on Sunday 03/07/05 with the proceeds going to MENCAP.

I've been asked by the orginisor if I can put together a group of BMWs for this show.

I don't know yet if there are any restrictions (particularly regarding vehicle age) yet, but if anyone is interested in coming, can they let me know.

Thanks

Mick
