Absolutely Ian, all welcome, no pre booking required

Judging by the dealer principal, mileage and age etc are definitely taken into consideration.

Cars that have had recent full resprays are automatically disqualified

I prepared some check sheets for last years event,so hopefully a similar thing will be done again this year and not just a case of the DP saying that car looks the nuts thats the winner

Best split in sections and marked out of 10,cant recall what we did last year but was something like

Outside

Interior

Engine

Overall appearance

Obviously age comes in to consideration and is marked accordingly,so there is no worries that one person could turn up in a 2007 model just out of wrapper and win when someone with a 89 model but with some oil and rust on wings ect made more an effort, but never won if you know what i mean

I cant make it tomorrow,so hopefully Duncan will keep tags on things (In fact i will email you now Duncan)

Big thanks to Phoenix BMW for hosting us, feeding us, judging and providing prizes!

15 cars entered the comp and a good few more came along in support. Competition was extremely tight and our poor judge was properly stressed trying to choose between the cars. The closeness of the competition can be see from no fewer than 5 cars sharing EXACTLY the same points. Fortunately a few stood out from the pack :

The goal!

1st Place - Iain Mitchell 735i - SatNav donated by Phoenix BMW

2nd Place - Duncan Aitken E46 M3 - Insp I from BM Motors

3rd Place - John Adams E46 316i - BMWCC Membership Renewal

4th Place - Rory Cunningham E36 M3 Evo - BMW T-Shirt donated by Phoenix BMW

5th Place - Paul Rice E30 325i - BMW Pen donated by Phoenix BMW
