unfortunately i wont be able to make it but i do have a suggestion for events.

i cant speak for everyone but my situation is that i work six days which leaves sunday for the family day.

if there were more family days i could attend more meets for example

newbridge house and park in donabate has agood car park,a playground for the kids,a barbaque area for richie and for a small fee theres a farm.i think with a decent turnout it would be a good day.

or a meet at the seafront in skerries etc,etc...

i dont know how many people are in the same situation as me but if i could include the family on a sunday it would open up a lot more events for me.(after all thats why i got the family membership)

well i got my tuppence worth in.enjoy sunday and safe driving to and fro.

Jim they are meeting at the 'Mad Cow' at around 10.30am and heading from there so it all depends on the traffic and road works etc but the AGM is not scheduled to start till around 12 noonish I won't be arriving until a bit later as I have family commitments in the morning

Don't expect to see the Dublin cars clean as the roads down won't be so you and a few in the surrounding area will probably have the cleanest cars

Just in the door.  The GPS brought me back by the back roads through Shannonbridge.  It gave me an eta of 17:31, and I hit my driveway at 17:34 (it didn't have the Loughrea bypass on it, for which it docked me 2 minutes!).

Interesting meeting; gives us all a few things to put some thought into.

Also nice to meet a few people I hadn't met before, as well as giving us all the opportunity to bid Ludo farewell and good luck.

OT: Discovery Science (NTL 211) are rebuilding an e30 at the moment.

I just wonder why we all can't just cruise along at a nice speed and then at least joe public might have a chance to view our lovely machinery in motion not just a blur and a roar and then link us to the 'Boy racer brigade'

I guess it is the same reason why you don't just look at your model girlfriend and just show her off to your friends. It is nice to admire what you have and show it off, but sometimes you have to give her a good ride. The feeling of shifting down to 3rd at 60mph and giving it some boot is something special. Then you hear her scream "More! More!"

Sounds like this... * save link as
p.s. Niall you planning on coming to the Isle of man trip?
