Hi all, just like to say - FANTASTIC FANTASTIC FANTASTIC - what a nice
bunch of people you really are, already sorting out for next year and
everything - all of us coming again.
Thanks Steve, Brian, Kevin for showing me what it was all about in your
cars. Me and the rest of our gang managed to get alot of laps in (more
than I thought I would) and was amazed in the learning curve between
our first 2 laps and our last 2 laps - these cars are amazing and very
flattering to its driver.
Must admit very nervous first time out but came back with a big grin on my face and from that point on ...
May see some of you at Silverstone, my friend want's a ride in the DTM car.
Oh, need to save the pennies for that 535d Touring
P.S. hope Kevin gets his exhaust sorted out soon and I hope the guys
with the 320is got home safely after Richard did some cosmetic surgery
straighting out its rear end.
Toby, it was nice talking to you, I understand you have some pics to post can't wait to see them.
Kevin

All this trouble with after market pipes seems to make the original system seem good value for money, especially as they all seem to have lasted 10 years at least. There don't seem to be any performance gaisn either with after market jobbies, more likely to lose power.
Moral, if you are going to keep the car a long time, get a BMW pipe, though that won't give anyone anything to complain about on here!

My Miltek has cracked several times now. and unfortunatly i did not put it on my car, it was the previous owner, and so the warrenty is nul and void as soon as the car is sold on.
I don't think i will be having a Miltek again, as it has split in places it sould not do.
I may try one of the Eisanmanns..... Does anyone else have one?? and is the sound difference massive, as my Miltek (Before all its cracking) was pretty loud anyway....

kevin's center section blew up like the other single skin Miltek boxes. they are double skinned now. looks like as soon they see some time of full throttle they crack.
Brian I had a lap with Kevin and the Miltek sounded quite good to me. Eisenmann can be a bit loud sometimes without a center muffler.

Brian,
as I feel pertly responsible for your Miltek Exhaust, I just thought I would mention that there is a Eisanmann back box forsale on Pistonheads!

Brian, they can make it shine bright but it will always sound like a bag of nails! Mine sounded awesome in that tunnel on the B257!

Just got back. Fantastic weekend, and as of 4pm today, everyone's car was in one piece and running ok...ish
I have a few pics I'll post up late tomorrow hopefully.
PS. I've seen the light, and it's diesel powered.

Just aquick message to say Hi to you all.......and lovely to meet you all.
Really enjoyed my first time there, already booking next trip asap, as have a few laps left on my ticket, and should not let it go to waste....
For anyone who has not been, its a must........ especially the E30 M3 owners........ Our cars are made for that track........fantastic
Blown exhaust (Not nice when going all the way to Manchester) and absolutly shot tyres, but more than worth it.........
Cheers
Nic
