Because Peter old bean, its only supposed to be invisible to radar, not eyeballs !

And it isnt actually very good at being invisible to radar.

It beats the inferior USA and Russian systems, but ours gets it.

After Gulf War part 1, the Royal Navy handed the yanks all their flight plans for the entire conflict concerning the stealth bomber runs, our radar could actually track the air disturbance the engines left.

They did get quite upset lol.

Strewth, where have you lot been, I thought everybody knew about these things !!

Best Wishes

Nigel

Well its funny you lot should mention teddys.

I took my dog with me, a chocolate labrador, who is honestly called teddy !!!

He is supposed to be my dog, but the kids named him, and of course a cute little labrador puppy does look like a teddy bear.

You dont feel much of a pillock shouting teddy, teddy come here, and this stupid great 5 stone lump comes bounding across to you !!

Best Wishes

Nigel

Think you will find the Russian system will track it, Gulf war Pt 2 US worried that former soviet republics had sold their systems to sudam, microwave systems. ( dont know if it will track planes & cook at same time  ?)

My brother who works for British Aerospace millitary aircraft division says that at an airshow where the stealth bomber was displaying an RAF rapier missile system actually tracked it and was able to get missile lock.

It is worth noting however that none of the stealth bombers used over iraq were even detected by the Iraqis let alone shot down

Errr rupert was a viable suggestion as far as the kids were concerned, I had to get all daddyish and grumpy on that one, but I lost out to teddy as the wife sided with them.

Best Wishes
