I just got my renewal through,

1988 325i, Alpina Wheels parked on driveway, Toad Alarm & Immobiliser.

21 year old, 4 points (CD10 for going round an empty car park sideways)

Third party, fire and theft £763. Not bad I suppose.

Just got a quote on an import Skyline GTR, £8439!! Think I'll stick with the Bimmer!

Hi I'm Cab325girl - I'm thirty something.  Live just outside of London with UB4 postcode - Fully NCB my insurance is £912 and I drive a 1990 E30 325i Auto Cabriolet which is parked in a courtyard - insurance is with AXA Direct.  I know I  could get it probably cheaper but they are so quick at getting things sorted.

Your insurance cover is only as good as when they have to pay out! <SCRIPT language=javascript>postamble();

Did you try MoreThan? They quoted me £415 for a (sadly fictional) '90 325i SE, fully comp with full, protected NCB and legal cover.

Feel sorry for the lot of you. Just insured my 320i convertible fully comp, guaranteed value of £6K for the princely sum of £56.50. One advantage of being a very young 60 with ten years no claims.
