'53 VW Bora TDi 130 Sport with short-shift, anti-roll bars, coilovers and a front lower S3 strut brace. Got a switchable serial port remap too but that's turned off at the mo cos all the torque was melting the poor wee clutch

Chris, so is the Porsche replacing the 6 then?

Is it just me or do you get bored quickly...

Indeed it is.  Not until July next year when the bugger arrives though!

I'll have had the 6 almost 2 years by then.  It's already the longest serving car I've had in many many years.  It has been, and continues to be, an absolute joy.  Faultless throughout.  By July though, I'll be ready!

Now there's a bi-polar if ever there's been one!

Punto's everyday practical n runs on vapour (does at 100mls a day to work and back). Dont wanna admit it but theres worse cars to drive(i think). Its spacious, comfy, embarrasing to be seen in, wot more do u need haha. Takes a severe hammering everyday then starts the next day 4 some more! M is weekend toy so roll on the w.end!!!!!!!!!

Yes it's mad isn't it? It's a big drive with a roundabout and some parking in front and beside the house and then parking on one side of the drive. It would all work out fine except there are 4 women living here so it always ends up a nightmare. (why can't they park cars instead of abandoning them?) Last weekend we had all the cars mentioned plus a Dodge Ram, a Rav 4, a Beetle (convertible, yuk), a Transit Van and a Passat. It took me about ten minutes to walk from the car to the house when I got home from work!

Allan,

There are worst cars to drive ..Im driving one....im now in my winter hack 18 year old 1.0 Vauxhall Nova as the 5 is now off the road for the winter..Its f'kin horrid but refuses to die at MOT time and is dead reliable so it fits a purpose when the roads have turned to that total brown filth from November to March.

As well as said Nova, ive got the (E34) 535 laid up up the drive, a Suzuki Hayabusa and a Ducati 996SPS in the garage(laid up!) and a Vauxhall Meriva...all 1.4 of it...its barely faster than the Nova.

Roll on springtime already!
