So now have we agreed on a location and date so all thats left is the time and those who are going to attend and we want a large turnout not the usual suspects

Right then, how about 12 noon.
The only hotel Im aware of in Portlaoise is the Killeshin on the Dublin road.
Whats the Heritage Hotel like?
What about the Montague hotel on the Dublin side of Portlaoise?

Any chance of a private room at either of the hotels? We can tell them we'll take a tray of sandwiches and tea/coffee and they may give us a room for an hour.Save us sittin out in a bar all trying to crowd around.

Private rooms tend to cost but leave it with me.
Between yis all, just pick a hotel before 3pm today and I'll ring them up after that, flirt with the receptionist* and scab a free room.


* maybe I should ask for room upstairs also!!!

The Killeshin Hotel is closed now K

The Heritage is the spot now, in the centre of Portlaoise but also has a multi-story car park.

Let me know if you have any joy sorting a room as i may be able to have a word with someone on the inside
