I do Shaun I'm afraid. I personally believe LPG is the way to go for now, although we all know once it becomes too popular, grinning git will just slap more tax on it I just wish the conversions didn't cost so much, its Ł1000, to Ł1,500 to get my old beemer done, the cars only woth Ł1,000 if I'm lucky, its just a weekend runabout (daddies toy), and of course I can buy a lot of petrol, even at present prices, for the price of the conversion. |

Jeezz, am I glad i did'nt listen to the same old arguments about Lpg ,back in 1999 when I had my 1st car converted , I've had 3 done in all , a twin turbo Jag Chasseur then a maserati & now this Beemer V8 If that makes me a Philistine then great because you woul;d'nt beleive the Thousands that I've saved on Fuel & before anyone pipes up about the costs ,I bought the latest injection Kit on e bay for 285 & it cost 600 to have it fitted by a LPGA assciation garage & not a bit of trouble. The oil never gets dirty or contaminated & the emmisions are low & the engine runs better on it as its 103 octane! Take it from me Just do it!!

Spokey how's the M5 ? i see the auction went to 3800 , have you changed your mind about the LPg system, I would have thought its nothing but good to keep it on for the engine & economy. are you happy with the car? |

Sometimes I agree with what other people say about BMW drivers, who could ever say they don't care about mpg, unless that is they have their heads well up their ass** I'm not loaded but I like my BMW, its a pity I dont get more mpg Andrew |

It must be nice not to care about MPG. With petrol going through the roof at the moment I care about it a lot. I really don't enjoy spending Ł165-220 a month on petrol.

What bother's me more than mpg/economy is future
emissions legislation, or a VIN number sized super duper tax for any car with an engine size >400cc (!), just to get the big cars off the road. Just a thought! Cheers, Shaun |

Hydrogen? How does that work then? I guess I
should keep up with technology! I am proud to be about ten years behind everyone else - even my imac can run on coal or lumps of carbide!! Cheers, Shaun |
