I'm on for Sunday.  Is the run to the lakes on?  I see in another thread that there was debate on what route should be taken?
My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavours last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

From what I hear the Sunday Run to the Lakes is off - due to a total lack of interest from any worthwhile number of members.

I am currently looking to see if I can rearrange by Sunday plans to get a run set up but the fact I won't know for certain until tomorrow means I couldn't confirm early attendance at the Lakes run anyway.

Keep checking the threads and watch out for any possible plans.

Nah, not quite as simple as that....not when I'm the one holding the meetings for 3 days.....

No, see the problem is I was due to go early Monday.  That means I would spend Sunday at home with the family.

However, strictly speaking I don't need to be in Leeds until lunchtime, so I might be able to set off later and spend more time with the family Sunday evening.....

Anyway, I don't think it'll be a huge problem.

Besides, I can't tell fibs.  I'm crap at it.  I have a habit of blurting out what I'm thinking soon after and it all goes horribly wrong.

As my threads perhaps show....I just tend to say what I think for real!

Hmmmm, not quite the same for me....!

Let's just say if I'm not there it's all a bit pointless for the others, so I'll just stick to Plan A!

I think I can sort the Sunday out though.  I'm priming the wife with the prospect of her going shopping on her own with free reign on bank account for the afternoon, so it's boding well so far - at an expense to myself!

Hi Guys.....

You can count me in for a Sunday jaunt !!!

Would'nt mind the Kirkby Stephen run, I know the roads really well around there. The best bit is from Kirkby Stephen through Outhgill and down to Garsdale, over the old coal road to Dent and then through the valley towards Ribblehead Viaduct and then down to Settle. They are fantastic roads, especially the coal road, not a one to be taken fast though !!! A convoy of BM's would look great as there are some excellent photo points along the route.

Hi Chris,

Been a bit busy with work and that. I have made a few tweaks to the car. Had a full Sat Nav/TV retrofit (same as yours) with a DVD/MP3 player also fitted. Its great, when the other half starts nagging you can put a film on.....not while your driving of course

I am off to Spain tomorrow, will be back on Thursday so I will see what is happening then.

Ooh interesting, I'll have to be having a look at that.  The DVD side of it might interest me.

I know I can get a player wired into the boot (because they won't play through the DVD SatNav system as standard) and a Magic Eye remote control in the cabin to run films off it but the kids never seem to be in my car now so I'm not sure I'd use it.  However, might be worth doing anyway for the odd occasion they're in it!

Having the brakes upgraded per my other thread on here....should hopefully be all ready and biting for the weekend!
