    OK (sad) statistical time

    Lewis Hamilton only ran 13 laps throughout all of Q1, 2 & 3 -

this is less than everyone else in Q3 & Q2

in contrast Vettel ran 22 laps to be P9.

Next closest is Massa with 16 in P2, and then Kovalainen with 17 in P3

    what does this mean?

they are limited on tyres for use in qualifying & race, so less use means more choice..... so it looks like a McLaren weekend to me.

(but what do I know )

I haven't yet seen the race but I saw on ff1.co.uk that I got 1 point and from Simon's post above that Lewis won. So HTF did I only get one point? I want a re-count!

Looks like the McMerc's, well Hamilton's at least, have it at the moment, Ferrari have some work to do, and Massa was born in a barn.

KB, Hamilton scored 10 points but Glock stuffed it and scored -9 thus your net  point as there were no points from your engine or chassis.

I think Glock did you Killian,  -9 points. Starting position minus finishing position. Hamilton will score 10 points for finishing 1st, no points for gaining places as he was on pole , so his score is basically negated.

Red bull were a -5 and Ferrari +5 so they cancelled each other out hence 1 point.

The better qualification is, the greater the risk of losing big points. start on pole and then go out 1st = minus 20 points. Bummer

although I have Raikkonnen and Kubica getting good finishes they are scoring very few points for me.

Big scorer this week is Piquet for Mr Pits

Glock was a big let down this year - I reckoned that he would do better. Still, it could be worse - I could have picked Jenson!
