Saw these whhels today during my usual 'E24' search!. Currently bid at $533 for the set.
It says 16" diameter but I thought the originals were metric? I've never seen a set of these original 3 piece wheels for sale before so they must be very rare, especially in this condition. Pity they're in the States as the carriage and insurance will be expensive no doubt. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7908792574&category=43956 |

These wheels on e-Bay are not metric. Metric wheels were quite distinctive in the 390 or 415mm diameters, the latter having a solid black line forming the circumference outside the cross-spokes. |

Look like 8-series wheels to me. They were 16".

The original M6 wheels were actually split rim 16" wheels, but they were nearly all recalled as they had problems with them loosing air. They were all replaced F.O.C with the dreaded metrics.
