I've had yet another very good experience at Robert Stern, now in Worcester, formely of Evesham.

Great parts service...again, always willing to give car club discount, and some very needed help from their service departmant.

I cant speak too highly of this bunch.

Best Wishes

Nigel

Only dealt by phone so far with Shrewsbury main dealer and Wolverhampton same, forgotten names.  Both been very helpful finding details out like can E28 (engine/VIN numbers needed) run on unleaded, prices and availability of parts, any alternative parts from another BMW that will fit.  Will post as/when I go there, also local specialist, Bobs Motor Works, told he's very good, certainly friendly and knows his stuff.

I would like to reccomend a specialist i use in chelmsford essex called PMW as they are very thorough and always fit me in if i have a urgent problem that needs sorting ASAP.

The staff are always polite and the work carried out is always of a very high standard.

Peter mould who runs the business is an ex BMW mechanic and knows the cars inside out.

I'd like to recommend a Specialist in Stevenage , Barry Jones Autocentre , very helpful , took the car down for a quick bit of advice and was so impressed with the reponse I got I booked the car in for an inspection II service the next day , got her back and the problem had been sorted but a new small one occured after the service where she was leaking oil , one quick call and a run back there and all was sorted ....highly recommend Barry who owns the company and who i spoke to is an ex BMW mechanic and knows his stuff about BM's

Cheers Andy!

After calling them frequently for info I finally bought something at the Main Dealer in Shrewsbury, Godfrey Hall. Very friendly and helpful for my E28 bits, dizzy cap, rotor arm, air filter. Prices good and they give discount to club members.

I asked how much P&P was to Telford in case I couldn't get up to them and they said not to worry about that, they'd have them delivered to my door by Friday! Best service I ever had from a dealer, but then I've been used to Ford, Vauxhall, Volvo and Toyota and some were good, some were awful!

Just had an Inspection 1 with Broadoak Ashford. They collected and dropped the car from/to home, carried out the service to a very high standard, picked up on the faults I knew about, valeted it and did a brake fluid change for £320. I was impressed.

Rydale Newport.

Took car in yesterday due to an annoying noise that wasnt able to be found or diagnosed on saturday by Rydale Cardiff.

Bloke went for a quick drive with me, diagnosed the issue and it will be being sorted early next year. The were extremely busy and the service was great.

Its not often that i speak to mechanics who have an ounce of customer service skills, but this bloke was great :]

Good work money grabbing for labour costs but doing free diagnosis fellas!

I've had terrific service from Burton Motor Workshop in Burton on Trent, Staffs. It's only a small place but the mechanics are very interested and very reasonable indeed on price. They are a BMW specialist and I can recommend them.

I've also just bought a new car from Sytner Nottingham and from the inititial enquiry we made six months ago we had four test drives in slightly different spec cars they got for us. There was never a sign of them pushing for a sale and in the end we got exactly what we wanted at a fair discount. Again, highly recommended.

Radford BMW, in Stafford (now merged with Knights of Newcastle-Under-Lyme) are 1st class. I took my X5 in to have the wing mirror glass replaced before Christmas as it was falling off and they washed the car for me, even though the jet wash was frozen up, they hand washed it!!

They also carried out an MOT for me in about 30 mins and gave me a discount on the price as the car passed 1st time.

Shrewsbury were a waste of time as I phoned them three times to get a X5 brochure and they kept saying they had sent it.. but it never arrived.

I'm happy to recommend Sycamore in Peterborough.

I'd never been to a main dealer before, so was pretty intrepid when I took
my 325 in for a fair amount of work.

I have to say the total cost was very reasonable, and my Service Advisor
kept me fully informed at all stages regarding costs and work required,
which was very much appreciated.

Based on my experience today, I'd be happy to go back again.

Good coffee too!

Thanks to all at Sycamore
