I have a 1999 530d touring with orange indicator lights. I have sourced clear lights for the front and side from e bay but I cannot get the rears for love nor money. Does anyone have any of these or know where I can get them? Also I have a set of 17" star alloys and tyres for sale from this car, I think they are style 49? They are original but not the best condition, four good tyres though, anyone interested? Cheers Kleynie Edited by kleynie |

When I was looking for rears they were easy to come by on ebay.

I have only ever seen one set of rears for a touring on e bay and they went for over £100, I wasn't quick enough on the auction so I missed out |

You could try asking round the forum at www.bmw5.co.uk it's a good source of info.

Apologies. The penny didn't drop. I should heave read the thread fully rather than briefly scanning it. I hadn't realised that your car was a touring.

Sorry I needed a touring due to having to use it as a van sometimes! Potentially the rear lights should be quite cheap as I only need the outer units and not the ones that are on the tailgate as they are completely red anyway. Thanks everyone for your help. Kleynie |

I think the clear lights may have been an option on these early cars, some seem to have them some don't, this is the second touring of that year I've owned, both had orange indicators. Kleynie |

The wheels are 8x17", not sure of the offset, will have a look tonight. I don't think they will fit a 3 series but they would fit E34 & E39 and possibly 7 series. I'll get back to you |

Thanks! They may well be in the range of an E36 for a man with access to a machine shop....

Yes definately. I know a man who made E39 M5 wheels fit his E36, he couldn't go over any bumps though !! |
