Actually no, this car is either; (a) missing a digit from the price (b) an import that hasnt had its duty paid (c) stolen. Still nice to dream eh? http://cars.nicemove.ie/vehicleDetail.aspx?vehicleID=197535& amp;imageField.x=10&imageField.y=2

that nearside 3/4 shot has some nasty confused design areas, I must have overlooked these when looking at the new 6 - I thought I liked it...

or (d) make believe. You send them the 90k and they'll promise that your car will arrive at your door, fully taxed and registered in Ireland. Any if you believe that one... |

Isn't that the Batmobile? Child locks on a coupe? And I can't see the rear windscreen wiper they mention in the rear picture! Does a 6 have power heated rear seats? Why - who can fit in them??? And why are they selling the child seat too? Oh Yeah - 150km? Edited by Fey! |

OT - John - I posted a link for WLN earlier - I think they had a 318 on the website.

Re. WLN - the only 318 they have at the moment on the site is an e36 conv. They do have some rather tasty (and pricey) e30 325i Sports's though!

The E30 318i convertible they had was a cracker though but at £7k at touch more expensive than what I'm looking for.

Guys, re. WLN and their prices, I know that they seem steep but
I bought my Sport of them and with the sterling diffference, the the cost of the ferry and the VRT it stands mt €8k but I suppose I could have bought this instead; http://www.carzone.ie/ usedcars/index.cfm?fuseaction=car&carID=285208 suppose it depends on what you think is good value for money really. BTW my car had 66k and a full BMWSH when purchased. |

Well dip me in honey and roll me in feathers - just checked WLN.... an average sport is over €8K... plus what you have to pay to clear it... thats daylight robbery regardless of the mileage or service history! Its 2K off getting you a tidy E36 M3...

And your car stands you......? As I said earlier, it's all about what
suits you. Personally I'd rather a car with provenance rather than something like an an M3 that has nothing behind it with the potential to cost the price of a small mortgage to sort out. But I suppose, to each their own...... |

Whats offensive about Fook?? you need to get out more Nigel...have edited the orginal post to keep you happy anyway.
Anyway - I never said your 325i Sports didn't suit you or that its not a nice car, I inferred its not worth €8k plus VRT , which its not - the OMSP concurs with that statement. And what my car stands me is irrelevant. Edited by kdevitt |

Firstly, I agree with aubergine, at 10yrs+, you pay a bit extra for provenance and in the case of WLN they seem to be able to source a quality of e30 that is very difficult to find without racking up a lot of miles touring the UK and looking at tat described as mint. I read the detail of aubergines car when it was for sale on WLN and it is a sweet and time warp car. People WILL pay prices over the omsp for a standard (generally unmodified) car with low miles, history and appropriate condition. My last e30 325i SE (auto) had an omsp of €1050 when I imported it. It had 68k miles and a fsh when I sold it for close to my asking price of €5k. A car is worth what people will pay (maybe not you Ken!). In the case of aubergines car, the alternative is a 4 or 5 year old Fiesta/Yaris. Seems like a no brainer to me. By the way, the prices of genuine historied low mileage e30's has increased fairly rapidly over the past 18 months or so. If I could find another 325i SE with similar mileage and condition to my last I'd end up paying probaly £750 more than early last year (roughly 30% more). Sports have crept up similarly. They have passed the inflection point where values bottomed and are now creeping up. Since depreciation is typically the biggest single part of motoring costs it seems like a pretty smart thing that aubergine has done, buy the best and keep it that way. Edited by Dergside |

I appreciate that Sports are appreciating (I'm a poet and I know-it) - but £6K for a 90 Sport in White is way over the top... quick glance at the UK Autotrader shows a silver one, same year and mileage and FBMWSH for just over £4K...
As for a cars value, its really worth what your insurance company will pay out in the event of an accident or theft, which in the case of most cars will be alot less than you think... |

Last year on the last e30 I had a pay-out on insurance (from the other party's insurer) of just over €3k for a repairs following a rear ending.
