Will post more later.

haha yeah i survived....made the mistake of trying to keep up with someone faster (215DMX) AND not knowing the track..."traps for new players" i believe.

It was a timely warning, reinforced by watching a bike go into the armco right infront of me a few corners later!! So the only real risk i had was getting crash debris in my feet going to help him!

And yep great to meet you, hoping to catch up with everyone at a ring or track event in the near future.

Andrew

Nice video. John's car does sound brilliant. The sound from a carbon airbox never fails to send shivers down my spine! Am i sad  ?

Uwe what does your car sound like now? You have changed to alpha n but kept the standard induction routing without the afm, is that right?

Newbsta1, check out the following page and scroll down to see Alpha N etc. Basically, its another control device to extract more power and used with additional devices, like a carbon airbox etc, make the best of the S14.

fitting Alpha-N would invalidate your warranty. I collected mine from Martin & John last weekend and, hopefully, will be fitting it in time for Croft. I am going to try and get "before and after" dyno run's on the same rolling road to see what difference that shows on an otherwise stock engine. Of course the "after" will be minus the AFM.

Those are some nice pics Steve and Toby got of almost all the group. Nice one guys ! I'll pick a couple out and ask you to mail the full size pics to make a decent print from, if that's ok Steve.
The vid of John's car is pretty damn good too. That airbox sound is just heaven
Love this pic

What a fantastic Trip!
I had a very very good time! Thanks to all who joined in and hopefully we will be some more in the future. I feel very pleased that NONE of us crashed or went over their personal limit.
And yes I am not a very big Ring lover but only because I haven't had a lot of confidence in my car lately (no grip at the rear) and I have seen too many friends loosing their cars at the Ring by not knowing the lines and not respecting the Ring.
And if I can't see where I am driving with 120mph I am just a little tentative.
Maybe I have to follow Kevin's example and do 100 laps+ to gain more confidence. I had a passenger lap with him and man was he flying!!!!
With just 6 and a half laps under my belt I remember only up to Foxhole
