OK OK I don't intend to watch it myself - but with a couple of kids they would love to have a screen when we go on a journey. Is there any way of turning the safety switch off ? |

Isn't the TV function just disabled by a switch on the handbrake? If so, find that switch and make it stay closed

This website could help http://www.nav-tv.co.uk You can either send your unit to them or take your car in to one of their dealers, dependent on where you live. |

Thanks for the info guys - tried driving with the handbrake on but it still cuts out, I think its probably tied into the speedo somehow. Says in the book it will only work at 2mph ! The websites that were mentioned do a module that will work it though. Thanks Mike |

Talking to a guy today that said all you need to do is take the speed pulse cable out of the back of the unit - sounded simple, but not sure I'd want to try it, not very technically minded!!
