Now this won't be to everyones taste, but it was actually a really good show, and the entertainment was excellent, and there were some really nice cars, and even a few BMW's!
Report:
The Max Power Live show was held at Birmingham’s NEC Arena, Hall 7 was where the show was located. The show ran from Friday the 30th of June to the 2nd of July.
I was at the Saturday show from 9am until around 5pm, in which time I managed to see well over 100 cars, a great live action show and even see a few celebs!
The Live action show was a compilation for diffing and racing from modified cars, to Mini "stock cars" which were a great laugh. Terry Grant preformed a few world Record attempts such as most reverse donuts in his Honda Civic & most donuts within a certain time (missed out by 2!)
The Royal marines also preformed a few combat fight maneuvers to show the crowd.
Back indoors the entertainment was still going, with Max Power’s Main stage which had dancing girls, rappers and prize giveaways, while at Ripspeed “ICE Village” there was auctioned off parts. Along with much other trade stands selling almost every car part, there were many ways to empty your wallet (or bank account!)
The quality of the cars was very good, although a few not to everyone’s taste, there were some very very good cars, including a BMW 540i featured in PBMW, which has had over Ł100,000 spent on it! Uber tuning also brought along their Z3, which features some major suspension work.
The show was very good, and the trip, which was organized through jon44w.com, was very well planned, and well worth it! I would definitely go back given the chance
